Ski Team Award : MHRC Team Award
We will award the Top 3 females and Top 3 males in each age category.
The racer with the highest points is awarded the number 1 spot (e.g. Gold), the racer with the 2nd highest points is awarded the number 2 spot (e.g. Silver), and the 3rd highest points is awarded the number 3 spot (e.g. Bronze). These racers will be recognized at the year end awards banquet.
In the event of a tie, all podium positions will be filled, regardless of how many athletes fill those positions - there is no tie breaker criteria for MHRC Team Awards.
All racers will be awarded points based on where they finish the race against the complete field of racers who participated and achieved a placing.
In the event of a tie there will be the same number of awards handed out. For example, if there is a tie for 2nd place, the awards that will be handed out are: 1st, 2nd, 2nd, 4th, 5th.
All racers will be awarded points based on where they finish the race against the complete field of racers who participated and achieved a placing.
The Race Committee uses the Modified World Cup Point System (MWCP) for scoring the MHRC Team Awards presented at the year end awards banquet. The MWCP will be used for the current race season and will use ALL individual regular season AOA/SOD sanctioned races. Club races (e.g. year end triathlon race) or separate invitational races do not count.
The MHRC Team Awards do NOT include points scored in any OPTIONAL, INVITATIONAL, or CHAMPIONSHIP races (e.g. SOD Championships).
