Karbon MHRC COAT PROGRAM UPDATE – Only 2 weeks left – Place your order before March 19th.

With over 35 jackets ordered so far, our MHRC racers will have a visible presence on the hill next season!

The 2017-18 MHRC Racing Team jackets are available for pre-order until March 19 only. Don’t miss your chance, because after March 19, we will NOT be able to add more jackets to the order.

The MHRC Racing Team jackets will be the brand-new Karbon Ambassador Style (not yet available on the slopes) and making their debut in the 2017-18 season. They have a “sports-modern” athletic fit, and they are made of Quadra stretch fabric. The fabric is designed so as to allow for comfort and flexibility and to provide for plenty of mobility.

The jacket will be electric blue in colour, and it will sport the MHRC logo on the front and back. Other sponsors’ logos will also be on the jackets.

This is a high-quality jacket at a great price!

Karbon Racing pants (with full side zippers) are also available for those who want them. Three models are available: Men’s, Women’s and Junior.

Steps Required for Ordering Coat

If you have handed in your order form at the family fun race, then just go to step 3.

  1. Have the athlete try on Coat Sample available at Corbett’s starting on Sunday, March 5th to Sunday March 12th.
  2. Fill-Out Order Form with appropriate size and email it to coats@miltonheights.com
  3. Go to Registration Portal and pay 50% deposit for your items. Deadline for placing your order is March 19, 2016

Sizing and Samples and Colours

  • Jackets will be available in both youth and adult fit
  • Jacket colour is blue and a colour swatch will be on hand at the sizing event.
  • The jackets on hand at the sizing event are NOT the style that the jackets will be. We are getting a new style, Ambassador, not yet available. If you wish to see the Ambassador, there is one sample jacket available to look at but it is in red, not the blue we will be getting.

Cost

  • Jacket – JR sizes: $217.00, plus HST
  • Jacket – Adult sizes: $322.50, plus HST
  • Pants – JR sizes: $140.00, plus HST
  • Pants – Adulte sizes: $180.00, plus HST
  • A 50% deposit is required at the time of ordering.
  • You will be able to pay your deposit through the registration portal.

Sponsorship Program

  • MHRC will seek to secure sponsorship for the jackets which will help defray the cost of the jackets and bring down the purchase price to each racer.
  • Our target is to secure enough sponsorship to cover half of the jacket current cost, Updates will be sent when sponsors are onboard.

We had many many families ordering 2017-18 team coats at Saturday’s family fun event and for those that are still interested there is still some time left!!  Corbett’s has generously offered to host coat-try-on sessions for this upcoming week.

LOST – CONNOR FENKEL MITTS

Connor left his jacket, helmet and White leather Au Clair Mitts on one of the benches along the windowed wall, and, when it was time to go, the mitts were nowhere to be found.

Join girls of all ages and abilities at this years Girlz Shred at Caledon Ski Club March 11 2017. Another day full of good times on the slopes with great people. Ontario’s top female coaches will be sharing their knowledge with those lucky enough to sign up!

How much will it cost?

  • $50 for Freestyle Ontario members
  • $60 for non-members + Discounted Lift Ticket.

Family Fun Event – Snowflake Series Race

Volunteers Needed for Family Fun Event!

Looking for Volunteers to help out this Saturday at the Family Fun Race.  Positions include:

  • Club House Setup
  • Maple Syrup Station, Hot Chocolate Station, Marshmallow Station
  • Bonfire Management
  • BBQ
  • Club House Cleanup

Although Mother nature has not been kind to us this year we are still hosting races and having fun at Glen Eden!  JHL – U10 race was held yesterday (Saturday) and everyone had fun and next weekend — we plan to do it all over again!!

The Nik Zoricic Foundation Annual Fundraiser

#Ski4Nik Challenge March 10th & 11th, 2017 at Craigleith Ski Club

The Nik Zoricic Foundation #Ski4Nik Challenge is back with an all new format!


 media-screens-2017-0116 years of age or older as of March 10, 2017 – Race on Saturday, March 11th

The exhilarating team aspect of past years’ Dawn ‘til Dusk relay is now combined with the head-to-head excitement of a Dual Slalom.  Teams will complete non-stop skiing laps on Big John [at Craigleith] from dawn until noon. One team mate skis at all times with all laps tracked by GPS timing system.

After lunch, teams will have the option of participating in the Dual Slalom. Pick some or all of your team mates to ski. Switch skiers between rounds when one needs a break. Team mates not skiing in the Dual are welcome to free-ski or grab a beer and cheer on their team.

Anyone 16 years of age or older as of March 10, 2017, can #Ski4Nik. Minimum of four to a team in one of three categories: Open, Family or Corporate.

All team members must wear jeans. Just like Nik!

Every skier will go home with an event swag bag, valued at $100, plus the chance to win more prizes.

Lunch is provided.

After skiing, join us at The After Party! Celebrate the day with dinner, drinks, a live band and silent and live auctions, plus a late night snack provided by Domino’s Pizza.

Calling all U12-U16 athletes – you can #Ski4Nik too! The #Ski4Nik Junior Challenge is going down on Friday, March 10th at Craigleith Ski Club!

Train all day at Craigleith with our coaches. We’ll have time trials for team selection and seeding for the night race on Little John.

Fuel up at the Après Pizza Party in the North Lodge.

Grab your bib and head back out under the Friday night lights of Little John for the Junior #Ski4Nik Challenge Dual Slalom.
Four teams – Team Zoricic, Team Brown, Team Irwin and Team Ryley – will face off for all the bragging rights!

Wrap things up with the night time Torchlight Parade down Little John.

All athletes must participate in the training camp to be eligible for the race. If you’re unable to participate in the training camp, feel free to join us for the torchlight parade.

All for just $35!*
Please note: Non-Craigleith members will need to purchase a lift ticket at an additional cost of $35.
