MHRC Weekly Ski Update- Weekend of Feb 24-25, 2024

Hello MHRC Families!
Here is your weekly team update. Thank you to everyone for a great season and looking forward to seeing you all at the EL Snowflake Series this weekend!

The U12s capped off a great season with a hugely successful SL final! The team travelled to Boler Mountain in London on Sunday and put on quite the show. As a team, they finished the SL race in 2nd place, which bumped them up to 3rd overall for the season! Way to go everyone!

On an individual level, Tyler Udovic and Ashley Caston both took home the gold!

It doesn’t stop there! The girls were all over the top 10 with Erica Georgescu taking home the bronze!, and Teagan McEvoy and Alice Zhang finishing 9th and 10th respectively! Way to go girls!

A big thank you to Coach Alex, George and Carson for everything you did for the team. Congratulations everyone on a great season!

Our U14 Team traveled to Craigleith for their SOD finals.  The team performed well this season and ended up in the Tier 1 Division.  The competition was fierce and while we didn’t have any podium finishers the team did an amazing job on a steeper course than they have ever raced before.

Well done everyone – you should be proud of a great finish and an even greater season overall.

Wow, and just like that, the season is coming to a close! The U16-19 team would like to take this opportunity to thank our coaches and the MHRC families and friends for making this season a success — it really does take a village!!
