To our valued members,

Hello to all in this most unusual of times.  We had hoped 2021 would represent a clean break from 2020’s challenges – so far that clearly isn’t the case. In accordance with the state of emergency announced by the Province, we are very sorry to share that we see no choice but to cancel our 2020/21 season.

We want you to know that we did not take this decision lightly. In many respects this decision was actually made for us by Ontario’s public health framework.

Our volunteer Board, our coaching staff and many other volunteers and partners had worked very, very hard to plan scenario after scenario in an effort to make a season happen. That said, we respect and understand this new public health guidance. Nothing is more important than the health and safety of our members and our overall community.

We also want to thank our sponsors for standing by us through this difficult time. We hope you choose to support their businesses as they have supported us.

Given this news, members have two choices for the fees paid for this year:

  1. Refund – a full refund, less a $75 administrative fee (this has always been part of MHRC’s refund policy).

– OR –

  1. Defer – carry forward this year’s fees to pre-register for next season.

Please email us at treasurer@miltonheights.com to indicate your preference. All of this will need to be processed manually and we ask for your patience as we handle this very significant amount of work.

In addition, as a resource for members, below are details on refund options for both Glen Eden and Alpine Ontario:

Glen Eden is also offering the ability to select either refunds or deferrals. Check their website for details and contact Glen Eden at vslead@hrca.on.ca or 905-878-5011 ext. 1292 between 8:30 am and 4:30 pm.

Alpine Ontario just announced a deadline of January 31 for refund requests. All refund requests must be communicated to AOA via email at admin@alpineontario.ca – more details available here.

Our Club remains strong. We are proud to be Southern Ontario’s best value for alpine racing programs.  We will now get busy turning our attention to planning for a great 2021/22 season – it will be the Club’s 50th anniversary – get ready for even more fun as we celebrate this milestone together!

Stay safe and healthy,

Your Board of Directors
