Attn: MHRC Members:

You may have noticed a large cardboard box in the clubhouse from the Fareshare Food Bank.  U12 athlete Sterling Ott was inspired by a speech from We Movement Co-Founder, Marc Kielburger, to take something your talented at, add a charity and make a small change in your community.

So he’s set a goal to collect at least 250 food items from his MHRC teammates in an effort to support the 400 families in need every month at the Fareshare Food Bank in Oakville.  If you would like to contribute, please bring a non-perishable food item on your next training day.

Items most needed include:  Cookies, laundry pods or powder, instant coffee, herbal tea, crackers, rice, pancake mix, pancake syrup, cereal

Items not needed include: beans, dry pasta, pasta sauce, baby biscuits, soups

Plus if you would like to donate 2 hours of your time, please help to deliver and sort the collected food items from MHRC at the Fareshare Food Bank in Oakville during the first week in April.  Specific sign-up details to follow.

On behalf of the Milton Heights Racing Club, thanks in advance for your support.
