MHRC Dryland Training 2019
It’s time to get ready for the ski/snowboard season with a reminder to participate in MHRC’s dryland program starting next Sunday, October 6th, 10:00 am to 12:00 pm, and successive Sunday’s through to December 1st. We start and end the session at the lower parking lot (near the boat rentals).
Proof of AOA/SBO registration (payment receipt) at the session is required for participation…it’s an insurance requirement, no flexibility.
The first session will “Get us Moving” with stretching, running and jumping at a moderate pace. All session participants should check the weather report and dress appropriately. Water bottles, yoga mats (if you have one) or an old towel are good items to get into the habit of bringing with you.
This year we have a couple of additional fee based activities scheduled to mark on your calendars.
- October 27th, we have reserved the climbing and aerial Challenge Course at Glen Eden ($30/participant)
- November 24th, we have reserved the day at the Alpine Indoor Ski and Snowboard Training Centre ($45/participant).
Both these activities are fee based, sign-up and additional information will be available at the dryland sessions.
Fingers crossed for some continued nice autumn weather and looking forward to getting this season started!
