Another dryland session this Sunday…
This Sunday we have another dryland session for the athletes leading up to our last session next week….time surely flies when you’re having fun!! The session will run from 10a to noon, starting from the lower parking lot. Once again the forecast is for cold temperatures so layered clothing is essential. Athletes should bring a water bottle (room temperature liquids), mats and ski poles for the alpine athletes (any ski poles will work). Our U14 alpine coach, Brook Rayner, will be leading the session.
This session will continue on the endurance and core strength themes. The athletes have been working hard on building stamina and strength during our sessions and should be feeling some positive results. The coaches will have a slate of muscle teasing, lung expanding and other fun competitive activities to engage our athletes during the session.
Also, a simple reminder for athletes to inform the coaches about any physical limitations so that they can participate in alternate activities during the session. We want to mitigate risk further or additional injury to the athlete.
See you Sunday!
