Dryland session this Sunday…
A reminder that we have another dryland session this Sunday from 10a to noon, starting from the lower parking lot. The forecast is for cold temperatures so layered clothing is essential. Athletes should bring a water bottle (room temperature liquids), mats and ski poles for the alpine athletes (any ski poles will work). Our U16 alpine coach, Martin Hirniak, will be leading the session.
We will continue to focus on endurance and core strength conditioning, along with mixing in some drills we use during the season to get thinking about the transition to snow-based training. So lots of intervals, laps, moving, mega-multi course competitions and sweating!
Please remind the athletes to inform the coaches about any physical limitations so that they can participate in alternate activities during the session. We don’t want to risk further or additional injury to the athlete.
See you Sunday!
