MHRC Update November 12

Hi everyone, first we want to thank everyone’s efforts this past weekend at the Milton Heights Racing Club Ski and Snowboard Swap and Sale. This event is the biggest fundraiser of the year raising funds that go to providing great programs and opportunities for all members of MHRC. A special thanks to Darcy Glidden who led the charge of club members to their success!


Final Dryland – Sunday November 15 10-11:30am  meeting at the boat rental – please note this is the last day the trails at Glen Eden are open for hiking and biking – theme will be Dryland Olympics!


Travel Team Information Sessions – Sunday November 15 @ MHRC Clubhouse – we invite all travel team parents to join us on Sunday to review important information regarding the travel team programs with the Head Coach and club program leads. The information that will be presented includes; program overview, equipment requirements, club policies, volunteer program and is an opportunity for parent to ask questions.


  • U10/12/14 Travel Teams – 10-11am
  • U16/18 Travel Teams – 11-12pm
  • Snowboard Program – 12-1pm


Registration – Travel team programs are almost full at this point, there are still a few spots left on Saturdays with the Jr Development program if you know anyone who is still interested.


Club Communications – please make sure you have signed up for the MHRC blog at to receive our weekly updates.


Program Coordinators – all program participants will all receive a welcome email from your program coordinators in the near future with relevant team information and a schedule of club events and training opportunities.

Volunteer Cheques – please note these cheques must be received by your Program Co-ordinator prior to the start of your programs otherwise your child will not be allowed to participate.  For more information contact your program co-ordinator or and click HERE for the information on the volunteer program.


AOA Fees – please make sure you have registered with Alpine Ontario for all MHRC program participants (except SB)


Opening Day – Glen Eden has set a target of Friday Dec 11 – think snow!!!


Extra Training Opportunities – Dec 19/20/21/22/23 – $50/day @ Glen Eden – registration will be available end of the week
